Everyone says we need jobs. The smart play is to ask for jobs from new businesses that will help the businesses already here. In the economic challenges, we are just on the front edge of, we need to help protect the companies that currently serve us with products, services, and jobs. That means recruiting or developing new companies focusing on the needs of our existing companies. New businesses like machine shops, packaging companies, service organizations, trucking, safety supply equipment manufacturers, that will bring new capacity to Ross County. These future neighborhood companies will cut down on freight expense, fuel expense, inventory carrying costs, and delayed delivery, all while supporting our local and regional economies which will help us through the economic challenges ahead.
